How do you apply a light application of eyeshadow?

Take a big brush, rather one of those cheap applicators they come with, and dip it in the eyeshadow. Tap off most of it, and brush it on lightly.How do you apply a light application of eyeshadow?

with your eyeshadow brush lightly put it in the eyeshadow and then put one layer over your eyelid.In other words only put one coat of eyeshadow on. This way it's light and you won't end up looking like a clown lol
use a fatter brush rather than a thinner one, and use a smaller amount of eyeshadow.
Instead of using a denser brush, use a fluffier blending brush. That way, it'll be more like a light wash.
Don't press very hard and use a fluffy brush
