I always watch makeup tutorials on makeupgeek.com and they talk about matte eyeshadow. Does anyone know what it is...what kind it is..where to get it...or whats the difference in matte shadow or anything else???What is matte eyeshadow?

matte eyeshadow is basically one with NO shimmer. its a basic color that comes of without shine or shimmer when put on the lids. Many companies make matte shadows some of the best are: NYX, MAC, Make up forever,and Urban Decay. they tend to be harder to blend then other shadows. some may be ';chalky';
matte has no shimmer, glitter, nothing. its just like a flat wash of color. its just like a different texture and finish. like mac sells eyeshadows that are shimmer, velvet, pearl, matte, ect.
a matte e/s is an e/s that has NO SHIMMER, totally flat and a sheer wash of color, but yeah, no shimmer.
