Applying eyeshadow?

I have never applied eyeshadow in my life, and wanted to try some on. Does anyone know of any step by step images that will help me. Also any easy to follow steps.

Thanks soo much.Applying eyeshadow?
Most places that sell makeup will be happy to advise you on what to use, and how to use it for free - the Bodyshop and Boots certainly do. This way you don't end up wasting money on products you don't want or need.Applying eyeshadow?
Really depends on how many colours you want and the shape of your eyes!!!

Always apply in triangles and tending not to go right up to your eyebrow.

Hope helps.
First apply a light color to your entire eyelid ( maybe a light pink, or light light brown)

Then apply a darker color to your crease.

Then apply a whitish color to your brow bone.
Mary Kay cosmetics' website has tips on how (and where) to apply the different colors of eyeshadow, HERE:

They give tips for 6 different kinds of eyes, with photographs and step-by-step, numbered instructions.

They have 14 very different model faces and 6 completely different color schemes of makeup; you can find a skin tone that approximates your own and see what different colors will compliment you!

It's easy. First I'd recommend starting with one light natural looking shade. Covergirl sells individual shades for about $3.00 at Walmart and they're great. Then you just use the little ';wand'; and apply it over your entire lid.

If you want to move up from that- buy several shades or a compact with more than one shade.

Take the lighter shade and apply it across your brow bone- yes, this is your eyebrow bone. :) Then cover your eyelid with the darker shade. Use your fingertip or a cosmetic brush to lightly blend the two colors so there is no distinctive line. This makes the makeup look much prettier.

That's all there is to it. The great thing about makeup is that it is forgiving. Practice, practice practice- it washes off and you can put more on.

I hope this helps you out!

i think this is really useful:

ok start by getting a really light color like pink chiffon from covergirl and put it on eyelid all the way up to under neath eyebrow then find a light brown color and put it just on the crease of eyelid after you have done that brush over all of it with a makeup brush to get all excess eyeshadow off but do not brush too much or all will come off then you just put mascara on and your ready to go.
I never use to use eyeshadow but from the first time i used it i liked it and i wear it every day now. Your the best person to apply your eyeshadow because you know exactly how you want it. The bestway to apply is start in the corner and work your way out, if you think that youve made a mess use a cotton bud to neaten it up.
I don't have images but if you really want help you should go to a Good friend and ask them to apply it too themselves then you try if you do it wrong just wash it off with makeup remover and start again. Its not that hard once you have done it Once or twice.
apply eyeshadow with a small pad or brush which comes with eyeshadow. at first choose colour keep colour near the eye blend into second colour in the socket of your eye or the same colour here finishing with a light colour near to your eyebrow If using a pencil for outline the eye top and bottom at top near the eyelashes and at bottom under the eye lashes this frames the eye and is lovely in blue lilac or green i use this one they apply a brush at the sockets of your eye with lighter shade and then mascara .....buntyseaforde
well if your light skinned put it on very lightly and dont make it go up to your eyebrows or past your eyelid just use light colours if your dark pinks and browns or goldish looking colours will look good on you.
go to stores like John Lewis n they will tell u how to do it really nice so it will look professional.

hope this helps

step-one: get some eyeshadow

step-two: dap your finger or a q-tip in eyeshadow

step-three: run it over your eyelid.
