When applying eyeshadow, where does the darker color go?

my grandma bought me a bareminerals makeup kit, and i've got brown eyeshadow, and a sort of pinkish eyeshadow. where do they go? i'm not very good at applying make-up, so any tips would be appreciated.

if you wanna go all out and explain how to apply everything (i could use the help lol) it's got powder liner, the brown eyeshadow, the pink eyeshadow, blush, all over powder, and a mineral veil.When applying eyeshadow, where does the darker color go?
The pink goes on the lid and the brown in the crease. Use a tiny brush to apply the powder liner as close to your upper lash line as possible. Well you can watch it here. She may be a little hard to understand, but you can see what shes doing. This is how you apply the powders for all over face:

Typically with eye shadows, you always wanna put the lightest color on the lid, and the darker color in the crease. And then go back to the lightest color and put it right under your eyebrows.

Heres an example: Its just to give you an idea. You dont have to go as dark as she did. You dont even have to use eyeliner or mascara.

Matter of fact, Id stop where she put the brown in the crease and leave it just like that (3:18 in the video) Well, Id add mascara.When applying eyeshadow, where does the darker color go?
I wear my eyeshadow with the lighter color on the inside of my eye and the darker color on the outside. If you go to YouTube.com there are a whole bunch of tutorials on how to apply make-up. Its helped me a lot.
Well, the darker color will go on your crease. Start at the corner of your eye and work your way in. Brown looks amazing as a smokey eye!

Darker=crease

Lighter=lid
Light = Over entire lid

Medium = Over lid up to the crease

Dark = Outer corner %26amp; in crease

xx
The darker goes in the far left then go lighter as you proceed to the left end of the eye lids. That's how mine looks and it looks CUTE!!
