Techniques for applying eyeshadow for a casual outing?

Im an asian teenager... I prefer to keep my make up simple and sweet.. (:Techniques for applying eyeshadow for a casual outing?
do something to accentuate your almond shaped eyes and your heavy crease above your eyeTechniques for applying eyeshadow for a casual outing?
You need 3 shades of the same color.A highlighter ( a very light shade), a base color(a medium shade), and a slightly darker color.Use a peach, pink,or a golden brown color or use all 3 together. You can use a dark brown eyeliner if you want to and either one coat of mascara or clear mascara.

Almond shaped eyes:

Using a fine, blunt-ended brush, gently apply the base colour to the entire lid from the inside to the outside corner and from the base of the lashes to the eyelid crease.

If the eyes need extra definition, a deeper shade is blended into the crease line. This gives depth to the eyes.

The brow bone is highlighted with a light shade. This gives the eyes a wide, open look. The colour is applied to the most prominent area and blended up towards the brow and down to where the contour curves down, toward the eyelid creases.
keep it light and when you brush the brush in the shadow count to 7 or 8 apply on eyelid and slighty above if you wan a drmatic look
You could either use the eyeshadow applicator that comes with most eyeshadows, or for more control simply use your finger to apply the shadow. You want a shade that compliments your skin tone, but also is basic enough so that it's simple and sweet as you like it. If you see you have too much eyeshadow on you can always take a piece napkin and lightly dab so that it's the way you like it. Hope this little bit helps!
