Highlight your brow bone with the lightest shade or a light shimmery gold or white. Also use this color in the inner corners of your eyes. Really brightens up the area. Use the medium shade in your crease by moving your applicator back and forth. Now use the darkest shade closest to your eyelashes.

It may seem like a lot, but it's actually quite simple once you get the hang of it. Also use very natural colors like browns and taupes to bring out your skin tone.

I recommend using eyeshadow brushes. A bigger one for the lighter shade and a medium sized one for the other two. They work much better than the applicators that come with the eyeshadow and you can tell the difference. Clean your brushes regularly too. Good luck!
use a makeup brush because it makes the eyeshadow lighter, if you use the brush that comes in the eyeshadow box then is going to be darker and more dramatic.
Start with a full sweep across the upper eyelid. Blending is the key, so using a professional makeup brush will save time and effort. Continue reading how to apply eyeshadow on http://www.pageantrymagazine.com/
I think for daytime, like going to work, shopping, etc., less is best. I mean you can use darker colors if that is what looks best with your coloring, but don't put it on real thick. And stay away from glittery stuff. That is more for a nite on the town, an elegant supper-club, dance-clubs, that type of thing. If you know the place you are going is dimly lit, put all of your make-up on a little heavier than usual. It will show up to your advantage but not make you look 'made-up'.
Using neatural and light colors and standing in natural light.
It depend but if you went to Northstrom or Macy they could show you how to!

Use an eyeshadow brush to apply it. Also i saw on Tyra's show today, fold up a napkin to the shape of a square and put in under your eye to prevent loose eyeshadow from getting onto your skin and causing the raccoon effect
