Does applying eyeshadow over your eyeliner help keep it from smearing ?

like applying a little bit of black eye shadow over black eyeliner ?Does applying eyeshadow over your eyeliner help keep it from smearing ?
see if u hav a oily skin dont try this becuase it can cause ur make up to spoil and if it is ok ok or dry then black eye shadow wid black liner would look terrific and wuold not smear

Apllying eye shadow over the eyeliner helps the liner stay and sets it.
Yeah, it does for me. Just make sure you put it on real light.
yes most of the time..another thing that helps is a really good shadow base
No it does not keep it from smearing - all it does is make it more messy... AFTER you've applied your eye shadow, THEN you apply your eyeliner, and you have to let it DRY.... Keep the eye closed until it does... Application of eyeliner should NOT BE RUSHED...


There are some brands that will dry gloss and some that dry matte, but both have to be given time to dry.. NOTHING goes over the top / on top of eyeliner.....
have done it everyday ! It does make the eyes look a bit more smokey, so just be easy with it until you get the hang of it
